Kelly Ella Maz Prestige Hotel Budapest Lobby

Hotel Review: Prestige Hotel Budapest

After such an incredible time in Budapest two years ago, we knew we wanted to include this city in our summer 2016 itinerary! Since we knew the city, we had a very good idea of what location we wanted to stay in which is when we discovered Prestige Hotel Budapest. This luxury five star hotel is a short walk from Chain Bridge, making it the perfect spot to be walking distance to all of the city’s best bars and restaurants. The fact that Prestige Hotel Budapest happens to be one of the most beautiful hotels we’ve ever stayed at was icing on the cake!

PRESTIGE HOTEL BUDAPEST

One of the most memorable parts of our stay at Prestige Hotel Budapest was the moment we walked into the lobby for the first time. We were blown away by the beautiful design and feeling of sheer luxury. There was no denying that this was going to be an incredible stay! After a quick check-in the bellboy was ushering us to our 4th floor room. Not only did the staff do a wonderful job of making us feel welcome, but the high level of professionalism really added to the feeling of luxury at this hotel.

We stayed in a Standard Room that was every bit as beautiful as the lobby. In fact, the room was so beautiful that I made Paul take extra pictures of all the detailing and fabrics so that one day I can use this as inspiration for our own home! Despite the fact that the room was only about 20 square meters, the room feel spacious and airy thanks to three large windows that face the interior courtyard. The room also came with built-in storage that allowed for us to put our belongings out of sight.

The bathroom was just as beautiful, with a sleek stand alone shower and high end fixtures. Taking a shower at this hotel felt more like a spa experience than a daily chore thanks to their luxury bath products, plush bath robes and soft lighting. It was impossible to feel anything but relaxed in this room!

One of the coolest features in our room was the “Relax Room & Fitness Bag” located in our closet. This bag had towels, slippers and bathrobes all ready to go for a visit to the hotel’s sauna or gym. Not only is this clever and well-executed, but it did a fantastic job of putting me in a restful mindset. All we had to do was pick up the bag and head to the sauna! And since part of a luxury vacation is being pampered, I’d say Prestige Hotel Budapest does an excellent job of that with this cute bag.

Breakfast was included in our stay, and was served in their gorgeous restaurant on the main floor. Breakfast included a typical buffet of fresh bread, meats, cheeses and yogurts. In addition to this, we were also able to order one made-to-order hot dish from a menu. Paul and I both had the scrambled eggs with ham and they were fresh and delicious. The staff at breakfast were very friendly, and also served us fresh juice and coffee. Having the ability to order something additional off the menu was a nice touch, and certainly one of the many reasons this hotel is considered such a luxury spot!
