We just got back from the most relaxing weekend at a tropical resort! We didn’t have to fly anywhere, or drive 17+ hours to Cairns…. we went just two hours north of Brisbane to the beautiful beach town of Noosa to stay at Verano Resort Noosa.
Verano Resort is technically located in Noosaville, which is less than a 5 minute drive from Noosa. This meant we were close enough to the beach, restaurants and excitement but far enough to feel like we could really relax at our own oasis!
Verano Resort is made up of bright, airy apartments available in either 1 bedroom or 2 bedrooms. They’re spacious and inviting, and come with everything you could possibly need. Our unit had two balconies which were perfect for morning coffee or sunset drinks. We took advantage of the full kitchen and cooked breakfast in the unit each morning, enjoying our fruit and eggs out on the balcony. The kitchen was also perfect for mid afternoon snacks and wine before heading into Noosa for dinner. It wasn’t hard to feel at home at Verano!
The bedroom was separated from the rest of the living space with sliding doors. It was nice to be able to close off the bedroom, but it was even nicer to open everything up to really let the sunshine in! The unit also came with two bathrooms and ensuite laundry. I loved that I was able to wash and dry our beach towels before heading home.
The real highlight of this resort though is the outdoor area. They have a beautiful pool and hot tub surrounded by lounge chairs and lush tropical gardens. There’s a bbq area with tables and chairs, and plenty of spots to relax. The perfect Noosa vacation would involve the morning at the beach and the afternoon at this pool. Although I wouldn’t be surprised if someone wanted to spend their whole vacation in one these lounge chairs! You also need to check out the pool at night. If you thought the pool was stunning at day it’s even more incredible after dark when it’s glowing blue from the lights!
The location couldn’t be better, Verano Resort is across the street from the Noosa River. On our first day we walked to the river to rent a boat for a few hours, then in the evening we walked to the river again to watch the sunset. Having the river so close made this resort extremely convenient. We drove each time we went to Hasting Street in Noosa, but parking wasn’t easy to find so I’d recommend taking the public bus. There’s a stop just outside of Verano Resort and it shouldn’t take more than 10 minutes to get there!
