Hotel Review: Hôtel Chavanel

As a travel blogger, it takes a special hotel to really impress me. Hôtel Chavanel did just that. This recently opened hotel is the definition of Parisian luxury. A boutique hotel located steps away from the designer shops on Rue Saint Honore and the high end dessert shops near the Madeleine.

Not a single detail was missed in the design of this hotel, starting with the prestigious french lace curtains and the beautiful furniture. The hotel is luxurious without being pretentious or snobby. It’s modern, it’s comfortable and it’s chic

When we arrived to Hôtel Chavanel it was hours before check-in time, but the friendly staff happily stored our luggage for us while we went sightseeing. When we arrived at 4pm not only was our room ready but our luggage was already in the room for us! Wonderful service.

The room was incredibly spacious for Paris, and came with a seating area with a cozy couch and a beautiful table topped with champagne, chocolates and Laduree macaroons. It’s doesn’t get more French than that! For those looking for even more space, their junior suite offers the perfect amount of room for anyone with a longer stay.

The large bed felt like a giant cloud thanks to the big fluffy pillow and an irresistibly soft cashmere blanket. The soft lighting on the headboard accentuated the soft lace pattern pulled from the same design of the curtains. Parisians certainly know style and quality, and neither is missed at this hotel.

Quality was also clear in the bathroom, where Nuxe bath products and plushy towels were just begging to be used. The shower was easy to use and had excellent water pressure. After my shower there was a beautiful robe for use.

It’s not just the location or beautiful room that makes me eager to return to this hotel, it’s most certainly the staff. They were constantly going out of their way to make sure we were comfortable, and I always felt welcomed by them. A stay at Hôtel Chavanel guarantees the perfect Paris getaway, whether it’s a girls shopping trip or a romantic weekend. To book a room for yourself check out their website,
