Hotel Review: The Five Hotel

I’m so happy I discovered The Five Hotel in Paris. It’s such a colourful hotel with bright, cheerful decor! Just one look at the lobby and you’ll see what I mean. It’s impossible to have a bad day when you’re surrounded by so much colour. The best word to describe this hotel is “fun”!

The Five Hotel is perfectly situated close to the Pantheon. The surrounding neighbourhood is fairly quiet with very little tourists, yet the hotel is still very central. It was a short 10 minute walk from the Port-Royal RER station when I arrived from the airport.

Staying at The Five Hotel is all about pleasing each of your senses. For example, your sense of smell is heightened when you get to choose what fragrance you’d like in your room! Your sense of sight is also heightened thanks to the fiberoptic lights in your room that softly glow like stars. I told you this hotel was fun!

Although quite compact (typical for Paris), my hotel room came with everything I could possibly need and the strategic layout maximized the small space. There was a beautiful glass shelf that doubled as a desk and plenty of storage space in the closet.

The bathroom was modern with a unique shower head that had lights that changed based on the temperature of the water! The bathroom also came stocked with L’Occitane products, which was a wonderful luxury touch I wasn’t expecting from a 3-star hotel.

The Five Hotel is a fantastic hotel in the Latin District, and an ideal choice for anyone looking to stay in a quiet area of Paris without sacrificing the ease of a downtown location. To book a room yourself check out their website, You can also check out the video below:
